Inside the Hostel ! |
For those of you who have always wondered what goes on inside the confines of a hostel .....here are some indepth reports of some of the special tricks that hostelites resort to.....either for their gain or their amusement !
Locking your friend outThis isn't as boring as it first appears , take my word for it! .Take a shoe lace ...go to your friends door ...loop the lace around the inside bolt ....and step out . Hold both ends of the lace and pull . The bolt will slide shut. Then ...release one end of the lace and pull the other end ...the entire lace will come out.Warning : you wont be able to open it so make sure you aren't caught ! (I think this brings back some nice memories for some of my friends....it wasn't me though Arun ! ) Glass TracingThis is in vogue in Engg. colleges like ours .If you are sick of those diagrams this is your solution. Take a bucket ...invert it....and put a lamp inside it. Take a glass sheet (whack your window pane...peferrably your neighbours! ) put it on the bucket and put your friends drawing on top . Then put your own sheet on it and trace away to glory !Roof PatternsTake a matchstick ...and dip one end in toothpaste. Set fire to the other end and flinge it on the ceiling .The match will stick to the roof and burn its way through. If your aim is right you can get your name on the ceiling.
